Estate Gifts

Emerald Circle

Recognizing those who build tomorrow’s leaders through their estate gifts

to the South Dakota 4-H Foundation

Established To:

1. Recognize and honor the generous donors who have included the 4-H Foundation in their estate plans
   

2. Invite others to nurture and support the 4-H mission for generations to come through their estate plans
   

How do I (or my family) qualify as an “Emerald Circle” member?

1. You can qualify by including the 4-H Foundation in your will
   

2. Making the 4-H Foundation the beneficiary of life insurance or a charitable gift annuity or trust
   

3. Contribute cash or other gift asset of $25,000 or more.
   

1. If you already included the 4-H Foundation as a beneficiary of an estate gift, you already qualify!

Tribute gifts recognize and individual’s accomplishments or special milestones
e.g. birthday, graduation, anniversary or holiday.
